Help reduce feed waste and cut down trips to the barn with an automatic treadle feeder that keeps feed covered until your poultry steps on the pedal.
-
Step-to-open design: Anti-slip lines help your birds stand steadily as they open the lid; they must weigh at least 500 g (1.1 lb), so this feeder is not for smaller chicks.
-
11-pound capacity: Load up to 11 pounds of feed, with room to feed four adult chickens at the same time.
-
Weather-ready build: The iron feeder has a weatherproof, rust-resistant sprayed finish and a rodent-resistant design. Its silver color suits a practical setup for chickens, ducks or geese.
-
Simple training: If your poultry are unfamiliar with the feeder, leave the lid open for a week, then let them learn to open it by stepping on the pedal. It measures 20 × 7.9 × 7.5 inches.
